About Masjid Al-Taiseer

Masjid Al-Taiseer is the second largest mosque in Liverpool. It is one of the most frequently used mosques in the City of Liverpool after the central Mosque of Al-Rahma. A vast number of people from ‎different ‎cultures and backgrounds visit the mosque on a daily basis.‎ The Mosque was first established in ‎‎2008 in the heart of Liverpool’s most multicultural area- the Lodge Lane neighbourhood. Al-‎Taiseer was running at that time from a small hall which was enough to accommodate 60 people ‎during the five prayer times and Fridays. From 2008 ‎to 2015, there have been various projects undertaken to expand the mosque so that it could ‎accommodate more than 1000 people, and the mosque was able to establish a small prayer hall ‎for women and other facilities to hold activities for children and youth.‎

Al-Taiseer Mosque is very popular, with a very spiritual atmosphere where every worshiper is made ‎to feel comfortable. The mosque is focused on serving people from all backgrounds because its ‎located in a multicultural neighbourhood. The mosque was first officially opened in 2008, receiving ‎people from both genders for the various activities which were run 7 days a week. The vast majority ‎of the attendees were noticeably young muslims who took up an active role in leading the various ‎activities. They actively collaborated with the Trustees to manage, set and implement the plans.‎
