Masjid Al-Taiseer

Masjid Al-Taiseer is the second largest mosque in Liverpool. It is one of the most frequently used mosques in the City of Liverpool after the central Mosque of Al-Rahma. A vast number of people from ‎different ‎cultures and backgrounds visit the mosque on a daily basis.‎ The Mosque was first established in ‎‎2008 in the heart of Liverpool’s most multicultural area- the Lodge Lane neighbourhood. Al-‎Taiseer was running at that time from a small hall which was enough to accommodate 60 people ‎during the five prayer times and Fridays. From 2008 ‎to 2015, there have been various projects undertaken to expand the mosque so that it could ‎accommodate more than 1000 people, and the mosque was able to establish a small prayer hall ‎for women and other facilities to hold activities for children and youth.‎

Today’s prayer times:

  • Fajr    –    5:57 am
  • Sunraise   –    8:06 am
  • Zuhr   –    12:03 pm
  • Asr   –    1:42 pm
  • Maghreb   –    4:00 pm
  • Isha   –    6:08 pm

Our Vision

Our vision is to deliver outstanding community leadership compatible with British values.‎ We aim to empower young people to have ambition for the future by creating a paradigm shift in their motivation, aspiration, confidence and service to their community. We want this to be in the forefront of their minds to open wide ‎horizons for community and youth leadership.

Our Focus

Inspire Charity Work

“A man's true wealth is the good he does in this world.” - Quote by Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him ﷺ

One of the main pillars of islam is (Zakat) to give charity and to do charitable things. We organise charitable events and activities with  the young people to inspire, motivate and encourage them to do good and become active members of the community.

Motivate The Youth

“O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me confidence, contentment, and boldness).” [Qur’an, 20:25]

Promoting youth awareness of I‎slamic accomplishments in the realms of science, technology and civilisation. This will help instil confidence and self belief in the potential that lies within the youth. This will ‎motivate and encourage them to contribute to the betterment of society and aspire to towards decision making and leadership ‎positions within their chosen careers.

dhyia

Educating Our Community

“Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” [Qur’an, 13:11]

We utilise the Mosques sermons as well as regularly invite guest speakers from different professions to give educational talks to our community. We greatly value community awareness of contemporary issues, as we believe that only through education and knowledge, is the first step towards making positive change.
